You may not believe me when I say childbirth is a manageable experience – one you’ll remember all the days of your life. And like life itself, is unpredictable.
It’s a physical, involuntary process your body goes though whether you’re conscious or not. Now that’s an amazing statement for sure, right? But true. But, how you choose to respond to it will make all the difference.
So. I’ll take you on a journey exploring the process of birth, the innate power YOU have to control the things you can and accept what you can’t to birth your little one… Self-care is the path to a healthy birth of your child. I’ll write more about this throughout this course.
YOU have everything you need physically. Hormones, your state of mind, your emotions , and support from others will carry you through the birthing experience. What I write about here and teach you will enlighten you.
It’s up to you to decide what makes sense to use or discard. It’s up to you to be proactive about your plans and actions in preparing for the birth of your baby. And it’s up to you to OWN your pregnancy and labor experience.
This course is a one time payment of (free for now) You can re-take the course. This course is available to you for 12 weeks only .
If the time lapses, you’ll have to pay again, please don’t do that. It’s limited to encourage you to read, learn, and prepare in a proactive way for the birth of your baby.
Believe in yourself, learn well, birth smart.

This lesson focuses on your attitudes about birth and "Self-Care", meaning how can you can physically prepare for birth. Also, the importance of support - who will be with you. Keeping a journal about your birth experience will help you prepare emotionally. It will also record this event for years to come.
This lesson explores the dynamics of emotion and its effects on the human body which influence the labor process. Scientific research is discussed to learn how you can use this information to help manage your labor.
"Self-Care" through labor refers to what you can do, on your own, to manage labor. Because it's recommended to stay home as long as possible before going to your birthing facility, you should practice and use skills at home to help manage your labor. These are transferable sills that you may be able to use in your birthing facility.
Childbirth is unpredictable, just like life itself. So it's good to know about your options available to you. These are options that will vary from hospital to hospital. So its best to go on a tour of your birthing facility. This lesson goes into depth about contractions - fear not, they are manageable.
